Hybrid Weekend Accelerated EMT – Flexible Training for Future First Responders

Need a flexible EMT training option that fits your schedule? Our Hybrid Weekend EMT program combines the convenience of online learning with the essential hands-on, in-person training you need to succeed. This 8-week program allows you to attend class and study from home for 5 weekends and attend in-person sessions for the final 3 weekends, giving you the best of both worlds.

📍 Weekends 1-5: Live-online class sessions with expert instructors

📍 Weekends 6-8: In-Person Skills, Simulated Clinicals & Final Exams

EMT Program Prerequisites – What You Need to Enroll

Before starting your journey to becoming an EMT, you must meet the following eligibility requirements to enroll in our program.

✔️ Age Requirement

• You must be 16 years or older by the start of the program.

  Note: you are able to take the program and test for NREMT before you are 18, but must be 18 in order to certify with the State of Arizona

✔️ Education and Reading Requirement

• Submit your high school transcripts, diploma or GED

• OR submit proof of Higher Education, such as college transcripts or degree

• OR submit reading comprehension results showing a 9th grade reading level or higher

✔️ Photo Identification

• A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) is required.

Note: AHA BLS certification is included in your program!

For this course, students will need the Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, 12th Edition textbook. 

 We believe in giving our students the freedom to choose how they obtain their book, allowing them to save money and avoid inflated supply fees charged by other programs.
